Stay motivated by taking part in Simmons'
Stay Healthy Fitness Challenge
. The challenge is free for YMCA members and runs from February 13 - April 8. Complete four days of physical activity each week, with one of those activities being something new to you!
You'll also get a chance to utilize our new Stay Healthy Technology in your pre- and post-assessments. A 20-second scan (or quick read) measures your body's lean muscle mass, body fat, hydration level and basal metabolic rate (how many calories you're burning at rest). After the challenge, you can view your personalized results and actually measure how your body changed.
During the challenge, you'll track your activities on a chart at Simmons. To receive a T-shirt, you must complete eight weeks of four days of activity. Complete the program and you will be entered to win one of our great prizes! Prizes include Personal Training, a free Massage, and a Week of Boot Camp.

Key dates to remember:
Pre-assessment: Feb. 6-12 (Stop by and see a fitness staff member anytime in the fitness center, or on Tuesday, Feb 7th from 9:00-11:00 AM and Thursday, Feb 9th from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Lobby)
Challenge: Feb. 13 - April 8
Post-assessment: April 9-22 (Stop by and see a fitness staff member anytime in the fitness center)
