Motivation and accountability are at the core of personal training. Certified trainers are instructors who stand beside you at every physical challenge, encouraging you to try your hardest and keeping you on track. Through personal attention and expert advice, a trainer designs a progressive plan to help you achieve maximum results and avoid injury.
Personal trainers at the Stratford Richardson YMCA specialize in weight loss, strength training, toning and sculpting, speed and endurance, power lifting and sports specific training for football, basketball, and track and field. Whether you are new to working
out or a seasoned athlete, our trainers will help you achieve your fitness goals.
Stay Healthy is a revolutionary web-based software that can help you get the most from your work out and track your level of health and fitness.
How does it work?
A painless, 20 second scan measures:
lean muscle mass
body fat
hydration level
basal metabolic rate
(calories burned while at rest)
As you track your food intake along with exercise habits, you will watch your progress in your personalized online dashboard. Available with all personal training packages of 5 sessions or more.

Our Fitness Center isn't just for adults. As our youth mature mentally and physically orientations and education to the Fitness Center are designed to be age appropriate. Beginning at 10 years our trained staff will teach youth how to exercise properly.
