Todd Tibbits | President and Chief Executive Officer  
Todd has spent most of his professional life serving YMCAs in Michigan, Louisiana, Ohio and Minnesota. Previously, he served as the President and CEO of the YMCA and JCC of Greater Toledo where he led community collaboration to strengthen the relationship between the YMCA and Jewish community and cast strategic vision for growth in one of the Nation's most strained economic regions. Other previous positions include operational leadership of YMCAs in Michigan and Louisiana. Most recently, Todd served as Chief Operating Officer of the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities (Minnesota), where he successfully directed the day-to-day operations of a $134 million association with 22 facilities, seven resident camps, 90 child care centers and 10 day camp sites. He started work March 1, 2016 at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, passionate about our potential to bring people together. As this city grows by the day in size and diversity, he believes the Y can be common ground. Todd is married to his wife, Denise, and has three children: Mel and his wife, Samra; Candice and her husband, Ryan; Eliana; and one granddaughter, Leandra.  
Michael DeVaul | Senior Vice President of Organizational Advancement   
Michael is a 25-year veteran of the YMCA. Michael began his career at the McGaw YMCA in Evanston, Illinois where he served for just over 15 years; he then joined the YMCA of Greater Charlotte in 1999. Formerly Vice President of the University City and Simmons YMCAs, Michael was recognized by Pride Magazine as the "2006 Excellence in Business Award Winner" for his efforts in community building and diversity work in the University City area and across the greater Charlotte community. In his current role, Mike is responsible for the area of strategic alliances which includes key organizations such as Carolinas Healthcare, Charlotte Hornets, Mecklenburg County, American College of Sports Medicine and United Way. He is also responsible for the areas of public relations/communications, public policy, YMCA International relationships, key large Association meetings such as the YMCA Annual Meeting, YMCA brand revitalization initiative, community development, diversity and inclusion and total health. He has been an active leader in the YMCA movement currently the North American YMCA Development Organization (NAYDO) and formerly served as the National Convener of the African American Executive Forum and is an active member of the YMCA African American Leadership Forum. He is on the local Boards of the Levine Museum of the New South, Steering Committee for the 2020 vision plan for Charlotte Center City Partners, The African American Agenda Steering Committee (CM3A), Community Advisory Board of the Junior League, the Mallard Creek High School PTSA Leadership Team, Advisor to the University City Community Building Project and is a lifetime member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Michael holds a degree from Columbia College. He is married to Laura and has two sons, Cole and Beau.   

David W. Dove | Senior Vice President/CFO  
Dave was born and raised in the Philadelphia area and joined the YMCA of Greater Charlotte in 2001. Dave's previous professional experience includes six years as the Chief Financial Officer of a Charlotte-based commercial real estate company and ten years with a national accounting firm. He holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting from Virginia Tech. In his role as CFO of the Charlotte YMCA, Dave is responsible for overseeing the Association's initiatives in financial planning, strategy, accounting, treasury/cash management and human resources.   

Dean M. Jones | Senior Vice President of Financial Development   
Dean is a 1982 graduate of Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina. He worked in the commercial lending division of Wachovia in Winston-Salem prior to joining the Development Office at Davidson, serving most recently as the Director of Development. Dean had a key staff role during the college's $150 million fundraising campaign. He came to the YMCA in 2000 to lead the organization's financial development department. Dean and his wife, Jane, have three children, Tanner, Nate and Sarah Grace.   

Lynn Lomax | Executive Vice President/COO
Lynn, a native of China Grove, North Carolina, is a graduate of Appalachian State University. He began his YMCA career in 1983 as a Youth Sports Director for the Rowan County YMCA in Salisbury. Lynn joined the YMCA of Greater Charlotte in 1991 as Associate Branch Executive of Membership at the Harris YMCA. Today, he oversees operations for all of the greater Charlotte YMCAs.  

Scott Chagnon | Chief Experience Officer  
Scott began his YMCA career as a Fitness Director at the Lake Norman YMCA and is now a 19-year veteran of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. Scott has been the leader of a number of the Association's branches and directed the fundraising campaign and construction project for the Lowe's YMCA in Mooresville, NC. He earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1994. As the Chief Experience Officer, Scott is responsible for overseeing the Association's Chronic Disease Prevention & Management, Health Partnerships, and Information Technology initiatives. Scott lives in Charlotte with his wife, Tracey, and their daughter, Finley.   

Janet Kafkas | Senior Vice President/Chief Organizational Development Officer  
Prior to joining the senior leadership of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte in 2014, Janet served on the Large Y Resource Team at YMCA of the USA, where she facilitated  strategic planning processes for large YMCAs  and consulted on organizational culture. She has also served in various leadership roles at the YMCA of Greater Houston and YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago.  Prior to her career at the Y, Janet spent three years in housing development for Habitat for Humanity. Janet holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Educational Ministries from Wheaton College and is working on a Ph.D. in Educational Studies at Trinity International University with a focus on non-formal leadership development in organizational contexts.
