Ways to Volunteer
 The YMCA can be your avenue to connect to the greater Charlotte community. Whether you’re looking for a one-time commitment or you have 20 hours a week to give, the Y can find a way to connect you to something you enjoy. YMCAs have several community outreach events that provide excellent one-time volunteer commitments. Check out our online calendar of events or visit your nearest Y to find out about these opportunities.
Ongoing volunteer opportunities include but are not limited to:
- Preschool Help and Afterschool Tutoring
- GED/ABLE Lab Tutoring
- Greeter or Staff Assistant
- Childwatch Assistant
- Swim Lesson Assistant
- Youth Sports Coach, Assistant Coach or Team Parent
- Blood Pressure Technician
- Administrative work
