Half-Marathon Training

HALF-MARATHON ENDURANCE PROGRAM
NEXT SESSION >> AUGUST 2014
 
We run Uptown! Our high-intensity, low-volume training program blends sprints, time trials, endurance runs and tempo runs! It's ideal for all individuals wanting to get faster and stronger and improve all fitness/performance.
 
Participants will learn proper running mechanics and will be provided a gait analysis. Improvements in power, speed, economy of movement, lean body mass along with confidence will be achieved!

Group presentations will be offered on topics such as proper shoes, injury prevention, race day preparation, as well as a one-on-one nutrition session with our registered dietitian. 

This is training is timed for a fall half-marathon, such as Thunder Road, Kiawah, Savannah Rock n' Roll or Rocktoberfest.

All interested participants must be able to run at least 4 miles proper to the start of the program. This training is NOT for a beginner runner.
