We are proud to present FLAVORS, our food vendor, who occupies the cafe. They along with the "Proudly Brewing Starbucks Coffee" kiosk are OPEN to serve you! Stop in and try a bite! FLAVORS serves both Made-To-Order and To Go menu items in the cafe and is also available for catering. 704 716 6854

History & Philosophy
The idea of simple yet tasteful food came about 2 decades ago. While Tim Wickey was learning the culinary arts, as a cook and a chef, food became a passion with unparallel commitment. Understanding flavors, from their natural state and pairing those flavors to create a dish that is memorable and full of flavor is the vision.

Owners and operators Andres and Tim merged their talents and experience to create FLAVORS Café/To-go/Catering in 2010. As they start their partnership in satisfying the customer with Flavors, they also start a commitment to the YMCA that will fulfill the expectations of the members.

Tim Wickey  Andres Vega
  • Culinary Graduate
  • 25 years in the hospitality business, 10 of those in Charlotte
  • Executive Chef for the PGA Tour
  • Executive Chef for Morrison's at CMC
  • Chef's Table, to include cooking classes (TV and celebrities)
  • 15 years in hospitality industry, 10 of those in Charlotte
  • Successful restaurant owner in Costa Rica
  • Studies that included, cooking and restaurant management
