The Lake Norman YMCA, one of two branches in the U.S. that is situated on a waterfront, features state-of-the-art exercise equipment, multiple studios for their 300+ group exercise classes each week, childcare and camp facilities, athletics facilities including a gymnastics center, and an outdoor skatepark!

The newly renovated Cashion's Fitness Center opened in early December, with new equipment, panoramic lake views and a brighter, more spacious atmosphere. The center has transformed into one the Lake Norman YMCA's highlights.

  • Precor TRM 885 Cardio Equipment, including top-of-the-line commercial treadmills, private viewing screens, touch screen consoles, heart rate monitors, integrated Foot plant Technology and Ground Effects impact control
  • Stay Healthy fitness tracking technology available with all equipment

Fitness Center Renovation
In December 2011, the Lake Norman YMCA renovated their fitness center. The new open floorplan and panoramic lake views make the Lake Norman YMCA one of the biggest, best fitness facilities in the area!
