Outdoor Pool & Lakefront

The Lake Norman YMCA is situated on Lake Cornelius, a quiet body of water separated by a bridge from the larger Lake Norman. Enjoy family time this summer and interact with neighbors as you enjoy this unique Y feature.

LAKEFRONT

The lakefront offers:

Sandy beach
Inflatable bounce house and slide
Water trampoline
Kayaks
Canoes
Pavilion
Birthday parties

The lakefront will be open May 27 – August 21 with lifeguards on duty.

Fridays – 4:30 – 8:00PM
Saturday & Sunday – 1:00 – 5:00PM

*Lakefront will be closed June 5.

OUTDOOR POOL

Join the fun this summer at the Lake Norman YMCA outdoor pool! Recreational and lap swimmers can enjoy the beautiful summer weather, which also features lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas.

What's different this summer? Enjoy an improved pool bathhouse with new features like:

Drinking fountain
