Volunteering FAQs
Volunteer at the Y
At the Y, we believe that when people come together for a common cause, the whole community is strengthened. When you become a volunteer, you have the opportunity to share your blessings with those who need it most. Whether you mentor a student on the verge of dropping out, coach a team to their personal best or become a friend to an isolated senior, your time and talent changes lives. When you help a neighbor, you make a difference in their life . . . and yours.
Annual Events
Our annual events require the help of lots of volunteers. If you're looking for a way to get involved, events are a great place to start.
Family Fun Day
(April)
Triathlon Week
- Adult & Kids Triathlons (August)
Breakfast With Santa
(December)
We typically begin taking event volunteer applications up to two months before the event, so you can sign up early!
Please be aware that volunteer opportunities are not always available; if you're looking for ways to serve, we suggest you call periodically.
Want to be a Youth Sports coach? We depend on volunteers like you to help our kids excel each and every season. You can learn more about our sports programs on our
Youth Sports pages >>
Download the Applications
We have all the forms needed for potential volunteers. If you want to get started, print off
the application on our Schedules and Documents page
, fill it out and bring it into the branch.
We look forward to serving alongside you!
