This ballet class will provide grace, balance and control helpful to keeping a healthy, beautiful body. Exercises are designed to strengthen and tone the body to look like a dancers' - long, lean and strong. Ballet targets smaller muscles that you don't often use - for example instead of working your quads it works the inside and the back of your leg. Ballet is an excellent form of exercise to strengthen and develop the core muscles of your back and abdomen. This may result in less back pain and a flatter abdomen. Ballet participants often notice that their waistlines become more defined over time. In our adult ballet class, level is a perfect introduction to ballet, appropriate for students with or without previous dance experience. Attire: Comfortable clothing that allows movement; ballet shoes or similar.
