Group Exercise

 
Whether you're new to exercise or getting back into it, group exercise is a great way to get moving, make friends and stay motivated.
Athletic Conditioning, Interval Training, QuickFit and Step classes are all fantastic ways to keep your exercise routine exciting. A schedule of all the Y's Group Exercise classes can be found here or sign-up to receive the Morrison Family and Ballantyne Village YMCA Group Exercise schedule emailed to you monthly!


 

NEW GROUP EXERCISE CALENDAR!

Viewing our Group Exercise schedule just became easier! We're happy to introduce our *NEW* schedule calendar tool! Our new tool gives you faster automated updates when there are instructor subs or class changes allowing our members to see schedule adjustments as soon as they're made! Plus you'll have the ability to search for classes by category, class name, location or instructor!
 SKILL LEVELS: 
 B = Basic movements; easy to follow, fundamental training included. 
 I = Intermediate; basic understanding of movements is recommended for an enhanced class experience. 
 A = Advanced; basic understanding of movements is required for safety to execute advanced movement patterns.    

 INTENSITY LEVELS:
 1 = Low
 2 = Moderate
 3 = Hard
 3X = Very Hard  


10-12 years: May participate in classes marked B:1 with a parent after participation in a Youth Fitness Orientation.
12-15 years: May participate in classes marked B:1 without a parent but MUST complete the Family Fitness Orientation
Please be aware of our Cycle Studio sign-in policy. Members must sign-in to reserve a bike. Reservation sheets will be set out next to the Cycle Studio entrance one hour prior to the scheduled class time. Each person may reserve ONE BIKE only. Reserved bikes that are not occupied at class start time may be forfeited to any awaiting participants. Please see the complete rules listed outside of the Cycle Studio.
