Whether you're new to the community or simply want to pursue a new hobby, the Y brings together people who love to learn. Learn to knit, join a bible study or play games in our lobby. You'll learn right alongside others from your community who share your interests.
Knit Wits
Our first and ongoing small group is the Siskey Knit Wits. A group of ladies with a passion for knitting started meeting in our lobby, but have graduated into their own room. They make knitted garments, hats, scarves and baby caps for hospitals and the needy. They love to teach others how to knit and during the summer have quite a number of youngsters who have benefited from their instruction. This group is free for anyone who would like to join. They meet each Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM in our Alltel room.
Bible Study
Experience the power of scripture by participating in Bible Study. You will have the opportunity to enjoy fellowship and share in a small group environment. Classes are held on a weekly basis.
