CMC Wellness Center

A CMC Health Center is located inside 12 local YMCAs staffed by a registered nurse. Committed to disease prevention, health education and early detection of illness or injury, our nurse works closely with Y health experts and local physicians to offer the following clinical wellness services:

Blood Pressure Monitoring The YMCA's wellness staff and the CMC nurse provide blood pressure monitoring services. The nurse consults with individuals who are seeking advice on abnormal readings. This service is available to YMCA members and the community.

Body Fat Analysis & Vaccinations The CMC nurse offers monthly cholesterol screenings, lipid profiles, allergy shots and other lab services for members and the community. Check out the Wellness Calendar for upcoming dates!

Cholesterol Screenings, Members, $25 Our CMC Health Center offers monthly fasting cholesterol and blood sugar screenings. A full lipid profile will be taken with the option for blood glucose. Results will be explained and lifestyle adjustments will be recommended as needed. A 12-hour fast is recommended and guarantees the most accurate results. Screenings are done the 3rd Wednesday of each month by appointment. Cost is $25 for cholesterol only or $30 including blood glucose.
