Our Youth Center is offering more to our young members! We have added group exercise classes for ages 5-13 as well as family group exercise classes including dance and Pilates. Check out some of our new programs like yoga workshops, endurance training and our Youth Fit Club. We will continue to offer our tumbling programs too.(Youth center is primarily for ages 6-13 for drop off while you work out. Many programs and classes are age specific. The new Functional Fitness space is where members can work their bodies to their potential through body weight exercises, functional training and more. Our space will have a functional rig for pull ups, chin ups, monkey bar climbing and battle ropes. It will also have slam balls, medicine balls, kettlebells and bands. The rowing machines, Airdyne and Octane Runners are available for your warm up or cardio workout. Use our platforms and bumper plates in this area or go to the outdoors and use the turf.
We have begun exciting changes with phase 2 of our Siskey YMCA Renovation. Over the next few months, the main entrance and front lobby will be closed due to construction that will ultimately improve your membership experience including new lobby experience with furniture, community meeting room, Chapel, membership desk, and café as well as fitness updates with flooring, lights, ceilings and air flow improvements. Please access the building via our Child Watch side door entrance during this construction phase.
