With a record turnout of 3,414 runners, we had more half-marathon participants than expected and apologize to runners who did not receive their half-marathon finisher medal as you crossed the finish line. We expect finisher medals to arrive sometime in the next few weeks. Please send an e-mail to corporatecup@ymcacharlotte.org if you did not receive your finisher medal so we can ensure that you receive one.

The first race of the season and the YMCA of Greater Charlotte's largest road race, with more than 3,400 runners in 2014.

The race starts in Uptown Charlotte and winds through the tree lined streets of the surrounding Dilworth and Myers Park neighborhoods. Celebrate the race finish with a post-race party in the Wells Fargo Atrium with live music, free food and over 20 vendors.

This race is open to individuals and teams (10+ participants) and is perfect for runners and walkers of all levels; beginner to expert.

Businesses (with 10 or more participants) can register as a Corporate Team to compete in the Corporate Team Challenge.  Corporate Teams receive points for the number of participants on their teams, the number of people from their company volunteering for the race, creating and submitting a team race t-shirt and more!  The team with the most points wins the actual “Corporate Cup” award.

After 34 years, Corporate Cup continues to celebrate healthy competition while giving back to the community.  The BB&T Corporate Cup 5K & Half-Marathon benefits the YMCA Community Support Campaign that enables the Y to offer programs and services that nurture the potential of kids and teens, promote healthy living, foster a sense of social responsibility and strengthen the foundations of community.
