Have a Splash Party! at the Harris YMCA Aquatics Complex!
Each party lasts approximately two hours. All Parties include a party attendant who will swim test and classify all children's swimming ability prior to swimming. Children will be classified in one of three categories, reflected by colored bands.
Red Band Non Swimmer*:
Restricted to water no deeper than chest level and must have an adult within arms reach at all times.
Yellow Band Intermediate Swimmer:
Restricted to water non deeper than 5 Feet. They are permitted to use al the indoor slides, however, they are not permitted to use the outdoor slides.
Green Band Swimmer:
Can use all pool areas.
*All non-swimmers must be accompanied into the pool by an adult at least 18 years of age.

Additional Information:
- The pool is open to members for free swim during party hours.
- For any child who cannot swim on his/her own, there must be an adult within arms reach at all times.
- Severe Weather: If lightning is detected in the vicinity, all pools both indoor and outdoor will be evacuated for a time no less than 30 minutes after the last sign of thunder or lightning.
- Contamination: In the event of bodily fluid contamination of the swimming pool, that pool will be evacuated and the appropriate measures taken. This type of event may cause a pool to remain closed up to 6 hours. In this case we will move schedule programs and activities to the remaining pools.
- In the event of pool closings due to weather or other incidents, we reserve the right to continue your party in another pool or part of the Harris YMCA facility.
