Children's Ballet and Tap Classes Required Attire

Note: Matching solid color chiffon style skirt may be worn in all classes. Tutus are not allowed in any class. Hair must be pulled back away from the face in a bun, ponytail or a braid. Jewelry is limited to small post earrings. No chains, watches or necklaces are to be worn during class.

Kinderkids Dance – (2 ½ - 3 year olds)

• Red plain short sleeved leotard
• Pink tights
• Pink ballet shoes

Preschool Dance – (3 ½ - 4 year olds)

• Pink plain short sleeved leotard
• Pink tights
• Pink ballet shoes
• Black tap shoes

Primary Dance – (4½ - 5 year olds)

• Light Blue plain short sleeved leotard
• Pink tights
• Pink ballet shoes
• Black tap shoes

Ballet Rhythms – (5½ - 6 year olds (Kindergarten))

• Navy blue plain short sleeved leotard
• Pink tights
• Pink ballet shoes
• Black tap shoes

Jazz & Tap – (Kindergarten)

• Navy blue plain short sleeved leotard
• Black jazz pants
• Black tights
• Black jazz shoes
• Black tap Shoes

 Youth/Adult Ballet, Jazz and Tap Classes Required Attire

Note: No jewelry except small studded earrings are allowed in class. Dance attire is designed to provide as much freedom as possible and to present a neat appearance. It also allows the teacher a clear view of the body for corrections.

Ballet Classes

• Black leotard
• Pink tights
• Shoes: pink, leather, split sole

Jazz and Tap Classes

• Black leotard, unitard or jazz pant
• Black tights
• Black jazz shoes with flexible sole (can be lace or boot style)
• Black tap shoe with ½ inch heel

Hip-Hop Classes

• Comfortable dance clothing (no jeans allowed)
• Black jazz shoes

Performing Company 

• Black leotard
• Pink tights
• Pink leather split-sole ballet shoe
• Black jazz shoe with flexible sole
• Black tap shoe with one inch heel (Mary Jane Style)

Cheerleading

• Assigned uniform
• White socks
• White tennis shoes

Hair

• Ballet: hair must be pulled back away from the face and securely fastened off the neck in a bun or a barrette.
• Jazz, Hip-Hop and Tap Classes: hair must be pulled back away from the face in a ponytail or a braid.
