Program Description
The H.O.P.E. Program is a weekly one-hour therapeutic support group led by credentialed counselors who help participants explore and gain insight about emotional overeating. Throughout the program, participants learn and practice new strategies to help break related behaviors.
This program is designed for people who struggle with their body weight. While our program recognizes the importance of the spiritual, mental and physical components when seeking lifestyle change, our focus in the H.O.P.E. program is primarily on the emotional component. The group provides support as participants discover and practice strategies that can break unhealthy behaviors associated with overeating.
We will provide a safe environment as we explore related topics and provide practical tools to assist participants toward lifestyle change. The goal of the H.O.P.E. program is to enable participants to develop these strategies into habits in order to maintain a lasting lifestyle change.
