Middle School Afterschool Program (12 to 14 years)

Afterschool is for middle-schoolers too! The Harris YMCA Teen Afterschool enriches your middle-schooler’s day by offering age-appropriate activities and opportunities to grow and have fun. They will enjoy field trips, leadership development activities, homework support, games, devotions and clubs. Studies show that older children who consistently participate in after-school activities are more likely to attend college, vote and volunteer later in life.

Our goal is to provide a safe, stimulating and fun environment for children to learn through participation. We incorporate Christian values: Caring, Faith, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility in our activities. Through activities like homework support, field trips, large and small group games and devotions, our program is designed to enhance your middle schooler's day.
