Johnston YMCA Child Watch is a free child care service to our parents (children must be listed as dependents on membership) while they enjoy their work out. Parents must be on-site while children are in our care. There is a two hour maximum time limit for each child.
This program is offered for children ages 8 weeks to 11years old. Children may not participate in the following programs for more than four hours in a 24 hour period in a Charlotte YMCA or a combination of Charlotte YMCA's: Children's Enrichment Programs, Preschool, Child Watch (drop-in care), and Afterschool. Short-term, drop-in child care centers are not licensed and regulated by the State Department of Child Development. All YMCA of Greater Charlotte child care programs adhere to YMCA quality standard.

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 5:30PM-9:00PM
Tuesday and Friday 5:30PM-8:30PM
