Fitness Appointments- FREE for Members

Meet with trained fitness staff to assess your current health and fitness levels. Did you know that there are five simple tests that will tell you your current fitness level? They are Muscle Strength & Endurance (1 min. push-ups), Flexibility (sit & reach), Cardiovascular (3 min. step test), and Body Composition (measurement of waist, legs, arms, and chest). During your appointment you can request documentation of these assessments for the online Wellness program My Y Health. Additionally, you can request information about taking an online Health Risk Assessment that will suggest fitness and life style changes based on your assessment results; or you can request an orientation of how to use our strength and cardio equipment safely.  The fitness staff will even help create a workout routine that is uniquely you. Come dressed in workout attire; and avoid caffeine, smoking, eating and exercise for two hours prior to your appointment.  Allow 45-60 minutes for tests and/or personal consultation.  
Subsequent consultations may be recommended and are encouraged.
