“I love coming with my family to the YMCA, whether it is to workout, play basketball, swim with my kids or watch them enjoy the youth center…..and sometimes I even do aerobics with my wife (don’t tell her I enjoy this).  It is the only place where I can exercise my body, mind and spirit….. all at the same time. The YMCA was built with Jesus Christ at the foundation and this is certainly still true today. As a parent, I want my children to learn, and live, the YMCA’s core values…faith, caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. They learn these at the Y, and have fun doing so.

As a volunteer at our local branch, I am proud of the many ways our YMCA has enhanced our community. The Y has made Lincoln County a better place to live, has connected people to God and to each other and has reached out to those in need. It is easy to give time to volunteer to an organization that plays a vital role in the lives of the people it serves….again, living up to its mission. We are blessed to have the Y in Lincoln County.”
