The YMCA has been a very important part of my life. 

As a child, I first learned to swim through the YMCA and later became certified as a lifeguard.  Through the YMCA I pursued a rich variety of interests, learned new athletic skills and, even more importantly, developed life skills which have served me well over the years. 

Today, I am proud to be part of the The Lowe's YMCA family as the staff and volunteers work towards making our community a great place for all to grow in spirit, mind, and body today and for generations to come.  We've made significant strides during our first full year of operation within our branch and through our community development initiatives and the best is still yet to come!
