Afterschool
 While you are at work, feel comforted that your child is getting homework help, staying active and developing strong character values at Lowe's YMCA Afterschool. Our instructors are trained to teach your child the qualities essential to becoming successful young people.
Our Afterschool curriculum also includes specialized programs, including Full Days, Holiday Camps, Reading Buddies, Parent Interactions and an Activity Bus.

Full Days
The Lowe's YMCA provides Full Days for your children on the days when you are working but school is out. Full Days include enriching experiences like devotions, games, physical activities and occasional field trips! Kids also have opportunities to read and complete homework. Full days are included at no additional cost for current Afterschool participants.

Holiday Camp: Spring Break & Winter Break
Lowe's YMCA Holiday Camp provides care and enriching experiences for your children during school breaks. It includes field trips, devotions, games and physical activities. Holiday Camp is NOT included for current Afterschool participants, additional fees apply.

Reading Buddies is a program that helps younger students develop and improve reading habits and enhances leadership development for older students.
 Activity Bus
Afterschool also partners with Lowe's YMCA youth sports and youth fitness classes to offer an Activity Bus. The bus provides transportation to Lowe’s YMCA practices for all Afterschool participants registered for one of our sports programs. Transportation to our Lowe's YMCA youth fitness classes is also available periodically throughout the year.
Family Interactions is a group designed to connect families and develop new and exciting ideas for the program. We welcome your support as we continually develop innovative ways to improve our Afterschool program and to better serve you and your family while building healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
