As a free service included in your membership, someone from the YMCA health and wellness team will meet with you, discuss your goals and help you create your personal plan. The YMCA has a variety of health programs designed to help different people accomplish different goals. Your health consult will help you determine the steps that are right for you.

Fitness Appointment
Maybe you're brand new to exercise – or you've been here before and could use a refresher. Either way, taking advantage of your fitness appointment (free with membership) is a great step toward better health. Health and Wellness staff will provide you with general exercise guidelines and introduce you to a variety of options including cardio-vascular and strength-training equipment. In 1-2 appointments you will be prepared for exercise on your own. Who knows – maybe there's an exercise you haven’t tried. Studies show you're more likely to stick with your exercise routine if you find something you enjoy.
