Q.  What does it cost to join the Y?

 A.  There are two factors to determine your membership rate: 1) the number of people in your household who will be members; 2) your annual household income.
Under our pricing structure – My Y Pricing – the rate is $66 for the first individual, $23 for each additional adult and $6 per child. There are no contracts and no joining fee. We adjust the membership rate for households with an annual income between $0 and $80,000.

Q.  How many adults/children can I have on my membership?

 A.  My Y Pricing allows you to add children (17 and under) in your household to your membership at a rate of $6 per child. While there is no limit on the number of children on a membership, there is no additional charge for more than four children. Additional adults (18 and over) in your household can be added for $23 per adult with a maximum of 5 adults per household. All adults and children on a membership must live in the same household.

Q.  Can I add a 5th child?

 A.  Yes. There is no additional charge for a 5th, 6th and so on.

Q.  Can I add a 6th adult?

 A.  No. My Y Pricing allows you to add adults (18 and over) for $23 each up to 5 adults with residence in the same household. If more than 5 adults within the same household desire a Y membership, a separate membership unit is required for the 6th, 7th and so on.

Q.  Why should I pay $6 to have my child on my membership?

 A.  My Y Pricing allows you to add a child in your household for just six dollars a month. Adding children under age 10 to the membership includes free drop-in child care for as well as access to the pools, fields and gymnasiums with a parent. Membership for children 10 years and older includes use the gymnasium, track, fields and pool without a parent (a swim test is required for ages 10-11). Children can even use the fitness center with a parent (ages 10-11) or on their own (ages 12 and up). Significantly discounted rates for programs like summer camp, swim lessons, sports, dance and gymnastics are also reserved for children
that are listed on the membership.
