Miracle League

Facebook“It is our national pastime and a game for all.” - Lou Gehrig

Ever watched a child play baseball? Then you've seen it. It's the look of pure joy that comes from a good time and the good feeling of belonging to a team. But too often, children with mental and physical challenges never get the chance to step up to the plate.

Miracle League FieldThe YMCA of Greater Charlotte and Miracle League teamed up to give children with disabilities a chance to play baseball through the YMCA Miracle League of Greater Charlotte.

The YMCA Miracle League Field is located at the University City YMCA. This custom-designed baseball complex has Charlotte's first completely wheelchair accessible surface that allows children of all abilities to take the field. Together, the Y and Miracle League believe every child should play because every child can play.

Our first-ever YMCA Miracle League season wrapped up in November. Thanks to everyone who has played, volunteered, coached, and supported us all season long!

The spring season is right around the corner! You can register online and lock in your spot early at ymcamiracleleague.org.
