The Morrison Family YMCA's Children’s
Academy is a Christian-based learning program that provides an atmosphere in which children learn through active exploration and play.
All of our age specific programs strive to enhance each child's self-esteem, imagination, confidence and desire to learn. The Children's Academy encourages learning and play through a wide array of daily activities that are developmentally appropriate to each age group.
The program encompasses learning through storytelling, manipulatives, creative art, dramatic play, fine and gross motor skills, sensory play, music, circle time and outdoor activities. Classes are offered for children 18 months to
four years old.
