 Afterschool Enrichment Program
The Morrison Family YMCA's Afterschool Program is an enrichment based program for grades K - 5th as well as middle schoolers, 6th-8th grade. Our Afterschool Program goals include teaching your children healthy lifestyles and positive interaction with others, promoting physically active lives, providing role models who demonstrate strong character and positive values while building healthy relationships with your children and making your children feel comfortable and confident being themselves and trying new things.

Registration for Spring Break Camp begins
February 1st for facility members & February 15th for program members.

* On a monthly basis, your child will have the opportunity to be part of a club. This program is available from 4:00 PM-5:00 PM, twice a week for 4 week sessions. These clubs will provide your child an opportunity to be exposed to even more diverse activities throughout the year. Activities may include ceramics, spanish, dance, and more.
K-Town : This Afterschool program, specifically for kindergarteners, runs separately from our 1st-5th grade program, which enables us to have the flexibility to provide age appropriate activities. The time spent at Afterschool allows for plenty of inside and outside activity time in order to provide some free & active time after a structured day of school.
Daily Schedule:
(School dismissal-6:00 PM) - Drop-off from school
- Snack
- Homework/activity stations
- Assembly & devotion
- Kid's' choice activity
- Easy drive-through pick up

Sports Partnership - If you are interested in having your child play a fall or spring sport at the YMCA, our staff is available to help you transition your child from Afterschool to sports practice. Parents/Guardians that have children who are currently registered for a sports program can request that the YMCA staff transition their child to practice following the Afterschool program at the time of registration. Practices typically begin between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Parents/Guardians may pick up their child directly from practice.
