Children's Academy 2010-2011

The goal of the Morrison Family YMCA's Children’s Academy is to provide a Christian-based learning program that provides an atmosphere in which children will grow in mind, body and spirit. Our teaching staff focus on incorporating the YMCA's five building blocks: socialization, fine and gross motor skills, education, and healthy choices.
All of our age specific programs strive to enhance each child's self-esteem, imagination, confidence and desire to learn. The Children's Academy encourages learning and play through a wide array of daily activities that are developmentally appropriate to each age group.
The program encompasses learning through storytelling, manipulatives, creative art, dramatic play, fine and gross motor skills, sensory play, music, circle time and outdoor activities.

Many of our preschool classes are already at capacity for the 2010-2011 school year. We encourage you to put your child on the waiting list, as Ballantyne is a very transient area and spaces open throughout the summer. Cancellation: There is a 15 day written notice required for cancellation. Prorated tuition will be refunded after the 15 day time period from the date of notification. Registration fees are non refundable.
