The Morrison Family YMCA swim team is a recreational program designed to provide an opportunity for young swimmers to learn the values of goal setting, teamwork, good sportsmanship, hard work and fun. The team will compete in swim meets as part of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte Swim League. Each swimmer ages five and up must be able to comfortably swim the length of the pool, while swimmers ages seven and older must be able to swim both freestyle and backstroke the length of the pool. The team will compete in swim meets as part of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte Swim League. Each swimmer ages 5-6 years old must be able to comfortably swim the length of the pool with any stroke. Swimmers ages 7 and old must be able to swim both freestyle and backstroke for the length of the pool.
