Many children and teens participate in YMCA Afterschool and summer camp programs thanks to financial assistance provided by donations. You can give children a fun, safe environment where they engage in enriching, healthy activities with positive role models.

Afterschool and Camp are supported by the following YMCA branches: Ballantyne Village, Childress Klein, Dowd, Gateway Village, Johnston, Lake Norman, Lincoln County, Lowe's, McCrorey, Morrison, Sally's, Simmons, Siskey, Steele Creek, Stratford Richardson and University City.


Charitable gifts made to the YMCA of Greater Charlotte represent a gift to the entire YMCA mission. To help the most number of people in need, the YMCA uses donations where they can do the most good by pooling them together to strengthen the entire community.
