FAQs
Parents as Teachers
At the Y we believe that a parent is the child's first and most influential teacher. This is the core belief at the center of the
Parents As Teachers
program's Born to Learn curriculum, which YMCA Parent Educators are providing to under-resourced families on Charlotte's Eastside.
Strengthening Families Program
Charitable gifts made to the YMCA of Greater Charlotte represent a gift to the entire YMCA mission. To help the most number of people in need, the YMCA uses donations where they can do the most good by pooling them together to strengthen the entire community. Because your gift is helping the YMCA provide life-transforming programs to adults and children, your gift is tax deductible.
YMCA Mission: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
