The Simmons YMCA impacts our community through the following programs and services:
Program Support
Youth Afterschool: Serves 110 youth daily; 63% of participants receive subsidy
Teens Afterschool: Serves 60 teens daily with free Afterschool programming, including study time, organized recreation, mentoring, and leadership training
Summer Day Camp: Serves 175 youth and teens daily; 70% of the participants are subsidized
Youth Sports: More than 225 youth play basketball, football, and soccer; 50% of the participants receive financial assistance
Active Older Adults: Over 100 seniors enjoy chair aerobics, yoga and water aerobics on a daily basis
The Simmons Health Center cares for an average of 500 seniors each month at no cost to them.

English as a Second Language: Classes offered at Simmons for over 200 adults with free childcare for participants
