Swim Lessons

For more than 100 years, the YMCA has been the worldwide leader in teaching people of all ages to feel safe in the water. The YMCA of Greater Charlotte teaches thousands to swim each year.

The parent/child program offers classes for children
6 - 36 months. Our preschool program is designed for children ages 3 to 5 years old and our youth program offers classes for children 6 and older. Stroke Clinics are for children 5 - 14 who wish to reach a competitive level of swimming.

We offer beginning and advanced courses for adults as well as private lessons for youth and adults.
