The Siskey Family YMCA offers Dance Classes where children and adults learn the art of dance through creative expression, coordination and movement. Classes are designed to help everyone grow regardless of previous experience.
Instructors:
Ms. Kristina has 10+ years of dance experience, including training at the University of California Irvine. Her professional dance experience includes dancing on Broadway in the Cats Musical. - Ms. Heidi (substitute) has 20+ years of professional performance experience, including over 10 years of teaching experience. Her professional dance experience includes dancing with the Miami City Ballet Company (the southeast’s most renown professional dance company) as well as with a variety of visiting dance companies at Ruth Eckerd Hall and the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. As a seasoned performer, she has been in over 50 film, television, commercials and theater productions
Required Attire: Children: Any color leotard, tights or socks, ballet shoes with an elastic strap (no slippers, please) and tap shoes with elastic ties (if tap is involved). These items can often be purchased at Target, Payless, Lebos, or other local dance stores.
Teens and Adults: Comfortable and non-baggy clothing, bare feet.

Spring Dance Flyer
Students can register up until April 16 and pay $10 less per class missed. If a refund request is approved and made prior to the 2nd class attended, you are eligible for a full refund less a $5 cancellation fee. If a refund is approved and made after the 2nd class attended, you are eligible for a 50% refund. If a cancellation is made after half the classes are completed as scheduled, no refund is available. Financial assistance is available.
