When you finish work for the day, feel comforted that your child is getting homework help, staying active and developing strong character values at YMCA Afterschool. In addition, to providing a quality program for your child, the Afterschool Program has  well-trained staff that are focused on meeting the needs of individual participants, committed to serving as excellent role models for the community and will help to establish an atmosphere where parents can be secure and confident about the place their child grows. 

The Siskey YMCA Hemby Center is located on a beautiful 21-acre site in South Charlotte. Our goal is to provide quality programming while instilling core values that help children grow physically, mentally, socially and spiritually, so that they may achieve their greatest  God-given potential.

Registration begins in May and continues throughout the school year. Children are picked up at selected schools and transported to our Hemby Activity Center.
