Did you know that you can improve your cardio respiratory fitness up to age 75 and unless you continue doing some strength training through age 65, that you can lose up to 20% of your strength?
That is why it is important to exercise at any age. National Senior Health and Fitness Day is Wednesday, May 28th. The Siskey YMCA will be celebrating the day by offering fitness demonstrations in the lobby, offering a Sassy Seniors class, having a senior luncheon, and inviting a guest speaker to come in and deliver a lecture on an older adult topic.
