• Inclement weather, including lightning, may cause the Waterpark and Indoor pool to close.

• Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. An adult must accompany any child using a flotation device.

• All children who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers along with plastic training pants. Regular diapers alone are not allowed.

• Please use locker rooms for changing and dressing children.

• If someone becomes ill or has an "accident" in the pool, we are required to close the pool for a minimum of 6 hours (NC Swimming Pool Code).

• No inflatables. Only U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation devices or solid flotation blocks are approved for use by the YMCA of Greater Charlotte.

• Guests are permitted to use the University City YMCA Waterpark any day of the week with or without the accompaniment of a member (please see fee schedule below), but must adhere to YMCA rules and guidelines while using the facility.

• We cannot honor the white YMCA of Greater Charlotte guest passes at the Waterpark - they are only for access to our indoor facility, including the indoor pool.

• Guests are not permitted on Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day.
