When a child reaches their sixth year as a Y-Guides participant they transition to Y-Guides Hawkeyes, a co-ed program that encourages leadership through volunteer opportunities. Children volunteer with their fathers at Federation events leading activities and assisting Y-Guides staff members.

Y-Guides Hawkeyes:

• Assist Y-Guides staff with events and longhouse activities
• Develop leadership skills
• Are invited to attend all Y-Guides events
