Youth Sports at the Y

MORE THAN A GAME

Kids who play sports at the Y develop so much more than their athletic abilities. We help young athletes get active while they learn how to work as a team, overcome setbacks and gain confidence.

We offer enriching programs, leagues, clinics, summer camps and tournaments for popular sports like soccer, flag football, basketball and gymnastics for kids across the greater Charlotte area. Caring coaches and instructors help develop the potential of each child as they become better athletes and more confident people.

A Place to Belong and Grow

Kids who play sports and engage in healthy competition discover so much more than their athletic abilities. They experience a sense of belonging and learn what working together accomplishes. We encourage kids to challenge themselves as players and people.

Talented Coaches Who Care

Our coaches know how to encourage fun while maximizing the individual potential of each player. Players practice drills and experience games designed to develop the fundamental skills of eye-hand coordination, speed, agility, offense, and defense.

Regional Experience

Our youth sports regional model promotes a wide variety of competition, teams, skill level, as well as exciting experiences to grow, develop and improve skills! Athletes will have games and practices at the branches within their region, throughout the season.
