Before School and Afterschool is offered onsite at the following schools:

Parents drop-off and pick-up at their child’s school. 
Before School and Afterschool is offered at the Lincoln County YMCA for the following schools:

Parents drop-off and pick-up their child at the Lincoln County YMCA. Transportation to and from school will be provided by the Lincoln County School System.

We encourage your child to bring a water bottle and dress in comfortable clothing. Apart from that, they simply need to bring what they take to school: a book bag, homework, appropriate materials needed to complete homework, etc.

We will provide all day programs during teacher workdays but will operate these out of Lincoln County YMCA and Sally's YMCA. A calendar of these scheduled days will be provided to you in advance. Parents can drop off children at 7:00 AM and pick up at 6:00 PM. Additional daily fees will be assessed for members or program participants, and participants not currently enrolled in afterschool may participate as well.

Our staff will assist each child in their assigned daily homework Monday - Thursday. Friday we will use this activity period for other enrichment activities. We will make every attempt to strive toward completion and accuracy during our 30-45 minute homework period. Thank you in advance for reviewing your child’s homework once they are at home to ensure completion.
Food / Snack Info
An afternoon snack will be provided for each child when they arrive to our program. Snack items will be peanut free and will include a fruit or vegetable at least twice a week. We will also encourage participants to stay hydrated by drinking lots of water! You can send along an additional snack with your child if you wish. If your child has any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please indicate that on the registration forms. We are a peanut-sensitive facility and we ask that you do not send peanut products.
We value regular communication with our parents and want to keep you informed of all that’s happening in our program. We’ll communicate in a monthly newsletter to keep you in the loop and let you know about upcoming events. View our newsletter >>
Pick Up 
A $15.00 fee will be charged and payment expected upon arrival for the first ten minutes after 6:00 PM that a parent is late. An additional $1.00 per minute will be charged for each additional minute after 6:10 PM that a child remains in our care. We will make every effort to contact parents and emergency contacts after 6:10 PM if a child has not been picked up. Local authorities will be contacted at 7:00 PM if we are unable to reach parents or an emergency contact. If a parent becomes habitually late, a meeting will be scheduled with a director to discuss your child’s continual participation in the afterschool program.
Your child’s safety is a top priority! To further protect your child, a list of authorized pick up names should be included on the registration form. During pick-up, our staff will request to see a photo ID from any person picking up a child and we will verify that the individual is approved. In the event of a last minute change by someone not on the original pick up list, the YMCA will request written authorization by the parent or a phone call from the parent to the site coordinator to approve the change.
It’s easy to change your pick-up list and ensure we have the most current information. Just go to your account on the website and update your information online. You can also update your information at the branch.

The YMCA reserves the right to deny custody to all persons who do not show ID, who are not on the list of persons authorized for pick-up, who do not have a properly-secured child passenger restraint device and/or who appear to be intoxicated.
Payment Procedures
Afterschool registrations are processed on a first-come, first served basis:
  • YMCA Member Registration began April 1, 2017
  • Program Participant Registration began April 15, 2017

  • YMCA Member Registration Fee: $25
  • Program Participant Fee: $50
Before School (5 days/week)
  • $72/month for Members
  • $125/month for Non-Members
Afterschool (5 days/week)
  • $215/month for Members
  • $269/month for Non-Members
Afterschool (3 days/week)
  • $173/month for Members
  • $238/month for Non-Members
*Rate reductions may be available through our income-based pricing structure, My Y Pricing.
Tuition is due the 15th of every month prior to the service (September tuition is due August 15th, and so on) Administration fee in the amount of $25 will be charged for each payment that is late or NSF.
Tuition may be refunded if cancellation is made 15 days in advance. Withdrawal from the program requires a 15 day notice from the date of when the cancellation form is received.
My Y Pricing is a simple, easy-to-understand pricing model that applies the appropriate membership rate based on the number of people in your household who choose to be members and your annual household income. In order to adjust your rate, you must present a current tax return to verify household income at the time you join and again every two years.
