YOUTH CENTER HOURS | Ages 6 - 13
We follow Union County and Mecklenburg County school schedule.

DODGEBALL CLUB                                           
This club is designed to help children burn calories and to keep them active with a game they love. Children are put into teams and coached game strategies, throwing, dodging, and catching and will participate in games such as Doctor Dodgeball, Backboard Dodgeball, Scratch and many more!

JUNIOR LEADER'S CLUB | Ages 8 - 12
YMCA Junior Leaders' Club is a physical fitness and servant leadership club that helps children develop into the kind of leaders who can have a positive impact on the community. Participants gain valuable teamwork and volunteer experience and build a healthy spirit, mind and body. Junior Leaders' Club works throughout the school year to not only make a difference by serving in their community, but also grow individually through trainings and workshops, teambuilding and all-around fun fellowship. In addition to our Fitness and Nutrition activities, the Junior Leaders will take part in Strength Tests, Teen Leader Mentoring and Community Service Projects.

NINJA WARRIOR TRAINING | Ages 6 - 13
Come test out and improve your Ninja Warrior Skills through a variety of obstacles, tumbling moves and bodyweight exercises!  Learn to control your body in order to successfully complete our courses! 

Tuesdays | 5:15 PM - 6:00 PM

SPORTS PERFORMANCE TRAINING | Ages 12 - 17
Join our certified personal trainers in the Functional Training Room for athletic conditioning workouts to improve both strength and stamina. Perfect for both in and off-season training!

Tuesday & Thursday | 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Members: $70 per month | Program Participants: $90 per month

TRX PRIVATE LESSONS | Youth ages 5 - 15 years old and Family 5 & up
Don't get bored with your workouts, change it up with TRX! The Brace Family YMCA is now offering private lessons for families and small group private lessons for youth. All fitness levels are welcomed, so come try out this new method of leveraged body weight exercise. Participants can safely perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility and prevent injuries, all at the intensity you choose. 

YOUTH RUNNING CLUB | Ages 6 - 13
Our Running Club is about focusing on learning running basics as well as building a community with others. Running Club will combine proper warm-up and stretching techniques with games, relays, and drills to give your child an opportunity to learn to enjoy running and having and active lifestyle.

YOUTH YOGA | Ages 6 - 13
Youth yoga will introduce the practice of yoga to your child through age-appropriate poses and breathing techniques, all while learning to focus themselves and their energy in meaningful ways. In youth yoga, our goal is to create a fun environment where laughter and friends are part of the process in building healthy habits.
