Make a Gift - A School Year Unlike Any Other
Giving All Kids The Chance To Succeed
The Y is determined to support the academic success of every child who lives in our community, especially those facing significant challenges that have only been magnified by the impact of coronavirus. For low-income students already at risk of falling behind, this school year has the potential to be academically devastating without access to educational resources and structured learning and enrichment opportunities beyond the virtual classroom.
The Y’s back to school programs are helping meet critical needs and reach our community’s most vulnerable students. By removing financial barriers, we are able to fill educational gaps and serve children and families who need us most.
Working Parents Are Counting On Us
With many schools operating virtually, remote learning has become a critical component of a child’s ability to succeed academically. Parents also need a paycheck. At the Y, we know schools and families are counting on us to provide a safe, enriching place for students to learn and grow while parents are at work. That’s why we’re partnering with local schools, churches and other youth-serving organizations to expand and reimagine our programming and experiences to give children the opportunity to thrive and parents the chance to provide.
