Gather a group of five to ten dads with same gender and age children.

Most tribes find members in their neighborhood, in their school, in their church, on sports teams or in dance classes. Utilize neighborhood social media pages or church / school bulletin boards and newsletters to build interest. Attend neighborhood family events. Ask your child’s friends from school to join. It is helpful to live in the same zip code.
Bring interested dads to one of our Information Sessions in August and September to meet the directors and learn more about our program. At the information sessions, we seat you by your zip code to help form your tribe for the upcoming year. Check for upcoming Information Sessions >>
We also host Tribe Training for New Y-Guides for all new tribes. For a successful start, your entire new tribe attends this meeting. We share detailed information about Y-Guides plus distribute program manuals. Learn how to lead a monthly meeting, plan events for your tribe, participate in community service projects, register for Longhouse, purchase vests and more. Check for upcoming meetings >>
