<p><strong>Camp Thunderbird Overnight Camp</strong></p><p><strong>Ages 7–16 | 1-, 2-, and 4-Week Sessions</strong></p><p>Located on the scenic shores of <strong>Lake Wylie</strong>, YMCA Camp Thunderbird offers a classic overnight camp experience filled with adventure, growth, and lifelong friendships.</p><p>Campers enjoy a wide range of land and water activities including <strong>water skiing, sailing, paddleboarding, archery, ropes courses, arts &amp; crafts</strong>, and more. Our “<strong>challenge by choice</strong>” approach and <strong>Bandana Reward System</strong> help campers build confidence, independence, and skills that grow with them year after year.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Session Options:</strong></p><p>&#128998; <strong>Junior Sessions (1 Week)</strong> | Ages 7-12</p><p>A great first overnight camp experience with age-appropriate adventures, evening campfires, and supportive cabin life. Campers arrive Sunday, depart Saturday after a celebratory Closing Ceremony.</p><p>&#129001; <strong>2-Week Sessions</strong> | Ages 7–16</p><p>Our most popular option. Campers dive deeper into activities and friendships over two weeks, with structured weekdays, weekend special events, and dynamic Evening Programs. Ends with a Friday night celebration and Saturday pickup.</p><p>&#129000; <strong>4-Week Sessions</strong> | Ages 7–16</p><p>Combines two back-to-back sessions for a more immersive experience.
