<p>Sports Camps at the Y are perfect for those who love to play! Campers of all abilities participate in a weekly focused sport to build skills, make friends, and develop excellent sportsmanship. Campers will also participate in classic camp activities, such as songs, games, and crafts. Sports Camps at the Y lift the Y's core values of Respect, Responsibility, Caring, Honesty and Faith and develop self-confidence through teamwork, determination, and achievement.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Soccer Camp</strong>Â at the Y builds skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing and defense, and other soccer fundamentals. We blend qualified instruction with age-appropriate drills, fun activities and a focus on teamwork and sportsmanship.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Flag Football Camp</strong> at the Y builds skills in passing, catching, defense and more. This interactive camp teaches fundamentals while building confidence.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Basketball Camp</strong> at the Y has a focus on skill development, game readiness, and teamwork. Campers practice ball handling, passing, shooting and defense both individually and as a team. Drills, daily scrimmages and interactive instruction encourage sportsmanship and fun.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Cheer Camp</strong> participants will participate in a full-out competitive cheer and pom routine. Cheerleaders will enjoy a week of exciting activities including learning to stunt, dance and tumble.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Golf Camp</strong> in collaboration with Payne Stewart Instruction is the perfect introduction to learn golf basics. Rules and etiquette are taught along with skills like driving, putting and proper club selection. The Y's focus on core values are woven into all camps and are highlighted in Golf Camp through sportsmanship and teamwork.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Bowling Camp</strong> in collaboration with Victory Lanes Bowling is a well-rounded recreational, educational and fun experience for youth of all skill levels. Our campers receive age and skill-level appropriate instruction. Participants are introduced to the basic fundamentals of the game (stance, approach, arm swing, release) and will learn equipment, safety, and etiquette. A behind-the-scenes look at the operation of a bowling center and pro shop including the pinsetters. Campers will field trip to Victory Lanes from the Y each day.</p><p><br></p><p>Cancellation Policy: Written notice is required at least 21 days prior to the camp start date.</p>
