<p><strong>Art Camp </strong>at the Morrison Family YMCA is the place to be for creativity, friends, and growth. With choices in visual arts, performing arts, and STEAM, there&#39;s something for every creative camper! Campers will also get to join in on classic camp activities, such as songs, games, teambuilding, and outdoor play.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Visual Arts Camp</strong> establishes the building blocks for great art. Campers use that foundation to create their own masterpieces during a week of discovery and self-expression. Campers take a deep dive into the fundamentals of art learning about line, shape, color, value and texture. Each week of Visual Arts Camp brings a new theme, new media, and new techniques for young artists&#39; creativity and expression.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Performing Arts Camps</strong> invite campers to take to the stage! Led by professional teaching artists, campers discover confidence and self-expression through performing and visual art. Each week features an exciting new theme and campers will present a showcase at the end of the week.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>STEAM Camp</strong> at the Y is the place to be for imagination and discovery with friends! Campers will explore the world of science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on group challenges, experiments, and projects that inspire creativity. Activities will change each week to reflect the week&#39;s theme.</p><p><br></p><p>Camps at the Y foster your child&#39;s independence, imagination, and confidence while lifting the Y&#39;s core values of Respect, Responsibility, Caring, Honesty and Faith.</p><p><br></p><p>Cancellation Policy: Written notice is required at least 21 days prior to the camp start date.</p>
