Summer Camp Counselors at the Y serve as professional role models by leading by example and guiding campers through recreational activities that teach life skills, encourage healthy behaviors, and create a positive camper experience. Jumpstart your career while you help kids have the best summer ever!
With the current lifeguard shortage across the nation, the Y is committed to maintaining an aquatic safety plan and training lifeguards with the skills to save lives. Our comprehensive course, for ages 16 and up, focuses on water rescue, safety and prepares lifeguards to anticipate and prevent dangers in and around water.

Imagine waking up in the morning and being excited to go to work! Every day our counselors get to play games, do crafts, sing songs, dance, and be silly, but most importantly, they help kids and teens make new friends, learn new skills, and foster a long-lasting positive impact.
Our Lifeguards make an impact! Lifeguards help ensure the safety of our swimmers, create a fun environment, build relationships, and use lifesaving skills you will carry with you throughout your future!
