Come learn about the Y Scholars program at Steele Creek! This new location is a classical-style learning community that integrates history, writing, math, and nature study:
Grammar Stage (Ages 4–8): Memory, storytelling, early math & literacy
Logic Stage (Ages 9–12): Analysis, discussions, cause & effect
Rhetoric Stage (Ages 13–15): Expression, leadership, persuasive communication
What Scholars Experience:
📘 History & Geography (Story of the World) – storytelling, maps, debates
✍️ Writing (Writing Strands) – copywork → essays & peer feedback
➗ Math (Horizons Math) – arithmetic → pre-algebra
🌱 Nature & Garden Study – planting, journaling, ecological exploration
Weekly Rhythm:
Monday: Exploration – new lessons & garden work
Wednesday: Deepening – practice & discussion
Friday: Presentations – share learning & reflections
